my hero

Meet Sully. Not as in this Sully...
or this Sully...

...but this Sully.
AKA Captain C.B. Sullenberger, known for his heroic and miraculous plane landing in the Hudson River last January. Ever since that story broke Bret vowed to be him for Halloween, especially when he found out that Captain Sully was also from Danville, CA.
So I supported him by being his faithful flight attendant (we're all about the home made costumes these days). Here he is receiving his medal of honor from the Tin Man.
Even after all these months, just as everyone was forgetting that amazing story and fixating on rogue tinfoil balloons and interrupted acceptance speeches, Bret saw fit to remind the world of the Hudson River Hero.

Once again, another winner. I knew this idea was in the works, but I wasn't sure how you'd pull it off. You exceeded all my expectations.

The awesome thing is that I knew exactly who he was JUST from the first picture. Bret, you are out of this world.

I knew who he was right from the first picture too. So funny! Only Bret has the attitude to pull it off all night too, barely cracking a smile. You look cute too!

We want to congratulate you both on your fine service. Great costumes!

And thank you for the awesome pumpkin dance. We want to practice it for next year, when I can MOVE.

I loved seeing the costume come to fruition. You pulled it off so well. I wish I could have seen it in person. Well done.

You make a very dynamic duo. Crazy eyebrows Bret! I love the picture of you "holding the world" in your hands. What an attractive flight attendant!
