zoo

I feel like if you're a young mom living in Salt Lake City, it's almost a rite of passage to take your children to the Hogle Zoo and then blog about it. Welp, here's mine.

Unfortunately Bret couldn't come, but we had a great time with aunts, uncle (Matt) and some of the cousins.

So the zoo currently has a bunch of robotic dinosaurs scattered around the park that roar, hiss, spit water and terrify children who, understandably, are too young to be able to differentiate that they are not real like all the other moving animals at the zoo.  I may have been a little creeped out by a few of them myself.

Finding out if we weigh as much as a month's worth of elephant poop.

When sitting on a bronze tiger with a mouth full of fishy crackers still doesn't satisfy,  you know it's time to go home.

Could Ethan be any more handsome? The answer is no. And I'm so glad to know about the dinosaurs. My nephews are coming to visit in a few weeks and they will go bonkers.

Hailey is terrified of those stupid Dinosaurs!!! You should get a zoo pass. We have one and we go all the time and would love to have you join us :)

Loooove Ethan's little chambray outfit. That and his cuteness in general make me hopeful that we'll have a boy someday.
