baby quilt

Once again my sister came through with her amazing sewing prowess. The quilt she made for Ethan is complete and I couldn't be more pleased with the final result!
It all started with an animal pattern I found that's on the back (and also incorporated onto the front) and then some other fabrics I found in various places that I thought would go well with it, including the fabric from the bumper and nursing cover. I was wondering if it would all mesh but it ended up looking great. Amy blogged about it here. She also used some of the extra fabric to make this adorable pennant banner for his nursery. So awesome. Go here to see how she made it.
He loves it already. Thanks sister!!

Oh my goodness! That quilt is to die for! I actually contacted your sister about a quilt for Natalie's big girl bed. She is so so talented.

The baby quilt & everything turned out amazing! I was planning on doing light blues and oranges for my little guys room & now after seeing yours all put together for Ethan I'm thinking I'll need to add some browns as well. It couldn't have turned out any cuter. :)

I know this post is really old, but I was just searching Pinterest for boy quilt ideas and I saw this quilt, and I was like, "That looks like Laura's baby's quilt... I wonder if they copied this blog's quilt design." So then I searched all over your blog for a pic of his quilt and it was the SAME quilt! Your sister is really talented. Do you quilt at all? I'm making our baby's quilt right now and it won't be as cute as Ethan's, but I am using some similar colors. Anyway, funny coincidence with that Pin find and it being your baby's quilt.
