a whirlwind

Here's a peek at our latest (and my first!) adventure to Brazil. It was certainly a quick trip, just over a week really, and now that I'm home it feels like it was all a dream. A very beautiful dream. The long journey home, however, is still very real to me - what with three very uncomfortable plane rides, Rach and I having to sprint to the gate for each one of them, and running on next to no sleep in the last 48 hours. I was just trying to pretend I was on the Amazing Race... pretty sure they don't let pregnant women on that show though.

If only I didn't have to leave my sweetheart behind for a few extra days. Hopefully they can wrap up business quick so Bret can be back in time to celebrate his birth.
