a jewel from the past

Last night Bret and I were discussing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (why? well that's another story) so we decided to look it up on YouTube where we stumbled on this gem of a clip.

If you were a lover of the show and you'd like to relive the good old days, or if you simply want to kill ten minutes of your time while at work, then I recommend that you watch it yourself. There's a particularly impressive display of African geography knowledge, but my favorite part would have to be when Rockapella sings "The Warrant" during the memory game part. They just don't make them like they used to.

Ok, I take back that last part. I DO remember that show, and now I feel about 100 years old.

That is so funny! We used to watch that show all the time dreaming that one day we would get to go on it! We nicknamed my little sister Sarah San Diego because she watched it so much! Great memories!

He picked California of all the places to go? Lame. I mean, California is pretty incredible, but I thought he was going to pick Paris or something. Oh well, at least I got to listen to Rock a pella again. Good times...

DO it Rockapella! I got so excited for that kid! I dare you to look up the Osmonds singing "Crazy Horses."

It struck me as something you'd enjoy.
